THE FINAL WAR
THE FINAL WAR
Some call it "Armageddon"
but that's really not its name
but only the Location
of this War of Greatest Fame
For Megiddo holds the secret
to the Final Prophecy
about the war that Christ will win
for all the world to see
Some say the mound is much too small
to hold those that will Fight
For all the rulers of this earth
need space to show their might
Twenty-five acres holds the hill
but it never was enough
For even older battles fought
spread beyond that bluff
For the Valley that surrounds the mound
spreads yonder past the brink
of what is needed to contain
the armys and their Kings
Megiddo is just the center
from which all will radiate
as far as needed by our God
as far as it will take
To Host a Battle that will fill
the prophecies of old
as clearly as the sciptures say
we'll watch them all unfold
It's not by chance the angel pours
his bowl upon the sea
The River called "Euphrates" is
The place that proves to be
The start of all the action time
where the spirits that were tied
will create a havoc on this earth
since released from the river's side
Held for just this special time
this hour and this day
the evil spirits that God released
will do what the scriptures say
They've gathered the rulers from the earth
From every land and shore
to bring their armies in one accord
to Jehovah's Final War
Where the Euphrates and Har'Megiddo
are seen as the Center Stage
they'll all spread out - in their Battle Shout
at the end of Mankind's Days
It won't take much to view this
in the vision of your own head
For even Christ fed thousands of men
on two fish and five loaves of bread
And once the battle's started
suddenly Christ will appear
upon the Mount of Megiddo
with his angels close and near
Mounted upon their horses
a spectacle in their robes
with materialized human bodies
with faces all aglow
Mistaken for a Rival Force
the armys down below
will view them as an enemy
as an army of their Foe
Attempting to use their cannons
or Fire with their guns
they'll find them all to be useless
some will throw them and they'll run
But Christ will call them to battle
he'll beckon them to fight
they won't recognize his identity
they won't realize his Might
Until they feel his Glory
as it fills the valley below
the power of his angels
now all will surely know
Jehoshua has risen
to take his rightful rule
with his sword of righteous justice
he'll command the final duel
And the battle will be even
and Fair beyond a doubt
for mortal man will take his stand
using fists and knives and clout
Christ has one advantage
to be King of Jehovah's Host
with Miraculous ways of power
quite similar to all of those
Who fought in Ancient Israel
at the Direction of the Lord
when Jehovah sent them to battle
against the enemy horde
They knew that they'd be winners
it was promised into their hand
when they warred against their enemies
on Jehovah's side they'd stand
So the Battle rages onward
and Christ will seize his Rule
out of the hands - of the evil bands
and the scriptures will come true
Alas, it will be finished
the yoke of wretched man
will be torn away from sinners
and placed in Jehoshua's hand

THE EUPHRATES RIVER
THE EUPHRATES RIVER
A Little Background
About the Euphrates RiverThe River Euphrates is a historic river,
very significant in Biblical history. The
Tigris-Euphrates Valley was the birthplace
of the ancient civilisations of Assyria,
Babylonia and Sumer. The cities of Babylon
and Ur were built on the river.
This was one of the rivers which flowed
out of the garden of Eden (Genesis 2:14).
It was also the region of the great Flood.
And it was along this river that Abraham
journeyed on his way to the promised land.
The Euphrates river is in southwest Asia,
rising in Turkey and flowing through Syria
and Iraq before joining the Tigris River.
The Euphrates, along with the Tigris River,
provided much of the water that supported
the development of ancient Mesopotamia.
It is believed that Ancient Mesopotamia is
where civilization began and was the home
to the "garden of eden" as described in
the Bible.
Mesopotamia literally means "between the rivers"
in Greek, and this area was the site of such
early states as Sumer, Babylonia, and Assyria.
The Euphrates River is 1,700 miles long.
The course of the Euphrates roughly parallels
that of the Tigris River. And shortly after
the rivers enter Iraq they are never more than
100 miles apart. The alluvial lands between
the two rivers was the site of the glorious
Babylonian civilization of ancient times.
Too shallow for navigation by all but
small boats, the Euphrates is important
solely for its water supply. The river is
the source of significant political tension,
as Turkey, Syria, and Iraq all compete for
the use of its waters for irrigation and
for the generation of hydroelectric power.
BABYLON, Iraq (April 16, 2003) - AP
One of Saddam Hussein's palaces
stands atop a hillside, overlooking
the Euphrates river and the ruins
of the ancient city of Babylon.
It was the Ancient City of Babylon
where the First Rebellion against
Jehovah God occured. It was under
the rule of Nimrod - that the beginning
of all False religion began.
HOW FITTING
From the garden of Eden all the
way to the center of today's Terrrorist
attacks - The Euphrates River has
played a significant role in mankind's
history and future.
And how fitting - that this same area,
"The Euphrates River" - which was
the setting for the creation of mankind
and later the seat of rebellion against
Jehovah God - that this should also be
a place mentioned in The Bible Book of
Revelation - as associated with God's
anger and retribution to mankind for
their rebellion against Him.
A CLOSER LOOK AT
"ARMAGEDDON"
Looking at Megiddo
and the Jezreel Valley
Har-mageddon (Armageddon)
Megiddo is one of Israel's most historical
landmarks as it has been rebuilt over 20 times,
which over time has produced a mountain,
otherwise known as a "tel". Located at the
foot of the Mount Carmel mountain range,
this ancient city known as Tel Megiddo
overlooks the Jezreel Valley, which has
witnessed more battles than any other
region on the earth. It will also play
host to mankind's final war--known to
most as the "Battle of Armageddon".

No archaeological site in the world is so
completely associated with cosmic disaster
as Megiddo - a prominent ancient site in northern
Israel identified by many historians and
theologians as the earthly location of Armageddon,
the scene of the final, apocalyptic battle at the
End of Days in the book of Revelation.
Archaeologists have been drawn to Megiddo
for more than a century by the possibility
of uncovering the streets, fortifications,
palaces and storehouses of a royal city that
is mentioned eight times in the Bible.
Located along the great overland highway
between Egypt and Mesopotamia, Megiddo has
a 6,000-years history of continuous settlement
and is repeatedly named in the ancient archives
of Egypt and Assyria.
Time and again, battles between great empires
that decided the region's fate were fought there.
Biblical accounts of the ancient clashes at
Megiddo may underlie its apocalyptic mystique.
After nearly 6000 years of continuous history,
with the decline of the Assyrians, Megiddo
apparently lost its position as a regional
center. The once-great city fell into ruins
and a small fortress was built on its north-
eastern edge to secure the vital road junction
that had been a key to the city's prominence
over the millennia.
Megiddo and Revelation
Even the Dictionary definitions of Armageddon
are vivid and grim. How did such a frightening
image of judgment and annihilation come to be
associated with Megiddo?
The Valley of Mageddon, as mentioned in the
Bible Book of Zechariah (12:11), was located
at the edge of a broad valley where great
battles had been waged and the fate of entire
empires had been decided for thousands of years.
Most scholars theorize that the word Armageddon
is a Greek spin of the Hebrew Har-Megiddo, or
"the mound of Megiddo."
By the Middle Ages, Armageddon had become a
purely symbolic biblical concept, unconnected
to the literal area of Megiddo. Over the
centuries, theologians and biblical commentators
have located Armageddon at different places in
the Holy Land.
Fearsome scenes of the final battles at
Armageddon have been elaborated in artwork,
poetry, and fire-and-brimstone sermons.
These creative expressions of the end of
the world - for many years - had no necessary
connection with any particular ancient site.
It has only been in recent years - with the advent
of Bible studies - that people are beginning
to draw conclusive connections in Revelation
to the actual site of Megiddo in Israel.
The symbolis imagery of beasts and dragons
combined with the names of actual earthly
locations, make it difficult for humans to
determine the actual meaning of many of the
scriptures in the Bible Book of Revelation.
